As a non-profit museum, donations are appreciated!
Monday:  Vail Mountain Tour,9:30 am-12:30 pm.  Instructor guides & entertains participants with historical tales of Vail Mountain and how trails were named. The skiing is fast paced, so intermediates and above, please.  Meet at base of Vista Bahn with gear and ski pass. 
Tuesday: Guided Museum Tour,1-2 pm. Tour 5 galleries loaded with ski & snowboard history.
Tuesday, Friday & Saturday: Historic Vail Village Walking Tour,2-3 pm. Vail locals and tourists alike learn the history of Vail Village's past and present landmarks and stories about its first generation of residents.
Friday: Meet Sandy Treat,3-4:30 pm. 10th Mountain veteran shares tales of training for WWII at Camp Hale.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 



K-12 Education Programs


For K-12 audiences: Our programs are designed to address state education standards (Colorado Model Content Standards in Economics, Geography, History, Physical Education, Science and Visual Arts) to enrich classroom curriculum, and provide a memorable, engaging journey into Colorado History.

The museum designs meaningful experiences for adult audiences.
